See what Being Boys and Well Girls group programs are upcoming around the country for your child

We are passionate about helping neurodivergent adolescence nevigate the transition through puberty and reach as many young people as we can. Through our Puberty Plus Practitioner Program, we have over 30 trained facilitators that are qualified to run all the versions of our Being Boys and Well Girls group programs in their respective practices or communities.

New South Wales – Wagga Wagga – Well Girls

Term 2, 2024

Location: Bidgee Kids Occupational Therapy – Wagga Wagga

When: Term 2 2024 – will run for 10 weeks

Who is it for?: Neurodivergent tween girls/people aged 8-12 who menstruate who want to learn all about well-being during puberty.

South Australia – Modbury – Well Girls

Term 1, 2024

Day and time: Wednesdays from 3:45pm to 5:00pm

Location: Novita Modbury Therapy office – 430, Montague road, Modbury North

Starting day: Feb 7th 2024 and will run for 10 weeks

Cost: The total cost is $1,303.94 per term (including initial screening (1 hour 1:1 with an OT), weekly group, clinical notes, take-home booklet, take-home goodies made in sessions (such as bath salts, period kits, rainbow rice etc).

Who is it for?: Girls aged 8-16 with a dual diagnosis of autism as well as intellectual disability or cognitive delay. Pre-menstruation is ideal (but not required) so that girls have an increased understanding of what to expect when they begin menstruating.
